He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Green and Esther Green; his daughter Susan Wilhelm; and his siblings, Loris Caplan, Joseph and Thomas Green.

He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Green; his daughters, Patricia Green (Robert), Robin Binder and Tamara Smedstad (Todd); his grandchildren, Joshua Johnson, Hannah Smedstad, Haley Smedstad (Hals) and Bradley Binder (Ariel); and his great grandchildren, Chase, Nicole and Jimmy Binder.
