He is survived by: his sons, Stephen Schabel, Dennis Schabel (Maureen), Tim Schabel (Elizabeth) and Ron Schabel (Patty); his grandsons, Greggory, Jeffrey, Jack, Joe, Owen, Henry, Daniel and Ben; his siblings, Garnett Hickey, Mary Ann Rosinski (Walter), Beverly Siegel (Lee) and Glenn Schabel (Sharon); his close friend Mary Quintal; Emma. He is also survived by other loving family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Veterans Administration of Lapeer County, in Robert's memory.
