With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roma Hazel Martha Kreis (Lapeer, Michigan), who passed away on October 9, 2025 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Broker and Clara Broker (Hoeft); her husband Wesley Kreis; her son Gary Kreis; her granddaughter Heidi Jones; her son-in-law William Smith; and her siblings, Orville, Gladys, Velma and Roy.
She is survived by: her children, Joy Saunders (Kenneth) of Attica, Janie Smith of Attica and Dave Kreis of Lapeer; and her grandchildren, Mark, Tammy, Thomas, Cheryl, Kelly, Holly, Jenny, Karri, Williiam, Courtney, Ashley, Diana and Benjamin. She is also survived by 30 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Paul Lutheran Church (90 Millville Rd, Lapeer, MI 48446). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Paul Lutheran Church General Fund.
