He is survived by: his children, Mandy Schmelter (Jesse) of Fort Gratiot, Nicholas Heacock of Clyde and Dakota Alexander of North Street; his granddaughters, Katelyn Castillo and Gabriella Castillo; his brother David Heacock (Teri Dupois); and his nieces, Kristi Walters (Dylan) and Kerri Molina (Joe).
