He is survived by : his husband Patrick Vance; his brothers, Bruce Fitch of Danville, CA, Mark Fitch of Oak Park, MI and Jerry Fitch (Judy) of Concord, NC; his nieces, Kimberly Fitch Tully of Skerries, Christine Fitch of Concord, NC and Michelle Lee of Costa Mesa, CA.; and his nephew Jeffery Fitch of Dunlap, IL.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 14th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Spaulding & Curtin Funeral Home (500 W Nine Mile Rd, Ferndale, MI 48220). A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 14th 2024 at the Our Church.
