He is survived by : his children, Deborah Edwards (Lamarr) of Arizona, Teresa Tolmosoff (Jack) of Michigan, Darlene Wallace (Craig) of Ohio and Morgan Boyer of Michigan; his sister Mabel VanderMolen; and his pet Blue.

“It brings me much sadness at the passing of family, friends, and those we love. Yet it brings much joy and comfort to know the suffering felt from this world is over. I will always remember the good times I was blessed to be part of in the Boyer family household, and the life lessons I learned from Uncle Lyle while working in the summers shaking cherries, picking blueberries, plucking chickens, and enjoying my time as a young man. You will be missed Uncle Lyle and I Love You!”
