Ruth Pauline Mezo Obituary
We announce the death of Ruth Pauline Mezo of Lawrence, Michigan, who passed away on August 24, 2026, at the age of 100. Ruth will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mike T. Johnson and Aretta Elizabeth Johnson (Williams); her husband Clifford Neil Mezo; her grandsons, Michael Mezo and Clifford James Woomer; her great grandchild Amber Ziemniak; and her siblings, Geneva, Olive, Garfield, Earl and Lucille.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Ziemniak (John), Lila Harris (Lee), Michael Mezo (Allison), Randall Mezo (Susan Dudek) and Stanton Mezo (Nancy); and her grandchildren, Scott Ziemniak (Lisa), Mark Ziemniak, Cheri Woomer, Randall Mezo, Tamara Hill, Lynette Florio-Schultz, Dustin Woomer (Michelle), Kenny Sonny, Rachel Mezo-Veronesi (Matt), Sarah Walsh (Steve), Rick Mezo, Jim Mezo (Julie), Mark Scibor (Kelly) and Jason Scibor (Sara). She is also survived by many great-grandchildren and four great great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Adams Funeral Home (502 W Michigan Ave, Paw Paw, MI 49079).
