He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Charles Cerny Jr. and Patricia J. Cerny (Garrett); and his siblings, Edward Cerny III and Patricia Mayne. He is survived by: his daughter Katie Kiewiet (James); his grandchildren, Mason and Isabelle Kiewiet; and his sister Debra Brown (late Rick). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Adams Funeral Home (502 W Michigan Ave, Paw Paw, MI 49079).
Memorial contributions may be directed to the family to establish a college fund for his grandchildren.
