We are sad to announce that on September 15, 2025, at the age of 79, Gary William Sampsell of Lawton, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren Sampsell and Dorothy Sampsell; his brother Ken; and his in-laws, Myron and Maxine Sanborn.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Sanborn; his children, Michael Sampsell (Paula), Amy Drobeck (Jeremy) and Sarah Mason (Travis); his grandchildren, Kayla, Jeremy, Hailey, Shaun, Cora and Davis; his brother Ronald Sampsell (Carol); his brothers-in-law, Phil Sanborn, Jim Sanborn (Kathy) and David Sanborn (Connie); Bankson Lake.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Lawton Community Center (646 N Nursery St, Lawton, MI 49065). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be directed to St. Paul's United Methodist Church or the Lawton Lions Club.
