We are sad to announce that, on February 9, 2026, at the age of 78, Randall Lee Peat (Lawton, Michigan) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Peat and Frances Peat (Lambert). He is survived by: his wife Madelynn Peat (Field); his brothers, Allen Peat (Delores) and Gregory Peat; his daughter Lori Mackey (Darren); his grandchildren, Rachel and Lauren; his children, Angela Peat (Ryan McCarthy) and David Peat (Grace); his granddaughters, Charlotte, Sophie and Elizabeth; his son Daniel Peat (Leah); and his grandchildren, Violet, Arthur and Louis. He is also survived by 9 siblings and spouses and many cherished nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Van Buren Youth Camp, 12370 45th Street, Bloomingdale, MI 49026, where generations of the Field and Peat family and friends have spent time as campers, staff and on the board, Donations may also be made to the Lawrence American Legion Post 174, 130 E. Saint Joseph Street, Lawrence, MI 49064.
