He is survived by: his wife Connie; his sons, Geoff Niessink (Annie) and Ben Nelson; his sister Paula Hoffman; and his grandchildren, Abby Niessink, Olivia Niessink, Langley Nelson, Kade Nelson, Harper Nelson and Cash Nelson.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Leland Community United Methodist Church (106 4th St, Leland, MI 49654).
