He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Holifield and Christine Holifield (Taylor); and his brother-in-law Thomas Phillips. He is survived by: his wife Karen Holifield (Wichert) of Mt. Pleasant; his daughter Crystal West of Midland; his grandchildren, Breonna, Landon and Ella; his child Kale Showalter (Angela) of Mt. Pleasant; his grandchildren, Leena and Cecilia; his son Cody Showalter (Chelsea) of Shepherd; his grandchildren, Sloane, Stella, Sophia and Cade; his child Keagen Showalter of Mt. Pleasant; his siblings, Tammy Phillips and Toby Holifield; his siblings' children, Randy Steelman, Connor Holifield, Logan Holifield, Tony Phillips and Kelli Porter; and his friend Owosso.
