He was predeceased by : his parents, Ray Morris and Florence Morris (Davenport). He is survived by : his wife Lois Bechtel of Leonard; his sons, Carl Morris (Caroline) of Dryden and David (Susan) of Leonard; his brother Don Morris; his grandchildren, Brent Morris (Stephanie), Brian Morris (Nichole), Jamie Vassel (Jason), Steven Preuett (Danielle) and Shana (Andrew Kasper); and his great grandchildren, Benjamin, Mitchell, Annabelle, Emily, Lottie, Nathan and Morgan.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home (11280 32 Mile Rd, Romeo, MI 48065). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations can be made to Compassus Hospice or the Alzheimer's Association.
