With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jerry Wayne Ballenger of Leonard, Michigan, who passed away on July 4, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Ballenger and Kathryn Ballenger. He is survived by: his wife Susan; his children, Jessica Midraj (Sadiq), Daniel Ballenger (Kristin), Sara Ballenger, Jacob Ballenger (Katie), Elizabeth Lane (Zack), Cooper Ballenger, Shane Ballenger and Romeo; his grandchildren, Sara, Nawal, Collin, Luke, Asher, Chloe, Rhys, Audrey, Wesley, Evan, Caleb and Ava; and his sisters, Carolyn, Donna and Debi. He is also survived by friends, wonderful neighbors.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 3:30 PM at the Modetz Funeral Home Silverbell Chapel (100 E Silverbell Rd, Orion Twp, MI 48360). A memorial service was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the same location.
