He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Heath Sr. and Irene Heath (Bush); his siblings, Ronald Heath, Harry Heath Jr., Robert Heath and Joyce Thrams; and his wife Gladys Heath.
He is survived by: his children, Don Heath (Lavonda), Dennis Heath (Casey) and Vivian Saftlas (Gene); his grandchildren, Allison Heath, Dalton Heath, Megan Heath, Dean Heath and Jessica Saftlas; and his brother Willard Heath (Edna). He is also survived by many extended families and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Eickhoff Funeral Home (311 W Main St, Mendon, MI 49072). A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
It is suggested that donations in Durwood's name be directed to either Toys for Tots, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, or Shriners Hospitals for Children.
