It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn Louise Boertman of Leslie, Michigan, born in Eaton Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on February 18, 2026, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert M. Smith and Mary Haeckel (Chojnacki); her husband Albert G. Boertman; and her son Steven L. Boertman. She is survived by: her sons, Joseph L. Boertman (Ronda) and Timothy G. Boertman (Kathi); her sister Pat Ruba (Dale); her daughter-in-law Linda Boertman; her grandchildren, Gabe Sharp (Dawn), Steffany Marriott (Chad), Steven Boertman (Dee), Trinidy Craft (Michelle), Nick Boertman (Erin), Ashley Wing (Josh), Rob Kudich (Abby), Ryan Boertman (Jenifer), Matthew Boertman (Amanda), Mike Risner (Rebekah), CJ Risner (Bri) and Stacie Higby (David); and her friend Carol Vandyke. She is also survived by 30 great-grandchildren, 9 great-great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
