With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cecilia J. May of Lewiston, Michigan, born in Mount Clemens, Michigan, who passed away on November 2, 2021 at the age of 103. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Leo Ohlert and Elizabeth Ohlert (Brinker); her husband Charles; her son Tom May; her brothers, Leo Ohlert and Lambert Ohlert; and her grandson Tommy May.

She is survived by : her daughter Patricia Thornton (Gene); and her grandchildren, Patrick Thornton, Susan Mikesell, Amy Pohutsky (Chris), Michael May (Sherry), Charles May (Marcie), Sarah Crupi (Patrick), Ted May (Hope), Mary May, Emily Morris (Rob), Mark May and Patricia Prewett (Dan). She is also survived by 19 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, those who wish are asked to consider memorial contributions to the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church or to the Lewiston Historical Society Museum.
