He was predeceased by: his parents, George Crosby and Doris Crosby; and his siblings, George Crosby Jr., Patricia Hillman, Geraldine Sibilsky, Mary Akerley and Virginia "Ginger" Fountain.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy Crosby; his children, Heather Fedorowych and Darin Crosby (Tracy); his grandsons, Maxwell Crosby, Paul Simpson Jr. (Cassi), Zenon Fedorowych and Krystian Fedorowych; his great grandchild Lennox Noel Simpson; and his sisters, Sharon Torsky and Karen Maynard.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Dryer Funeral Home (101 N 1st St, Holly, MI 48442). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at the Ottawa Park Cemetery (6180 Dixie Hwy, Village of Clarkston, MI 48346).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Red Cross (Gene was a dedicated blood donor) or the American Diabetes Association.
