He was predeceased by: his wife Phyllis Barth (Hopkins); and his siblings, Henry (Maxine), Robert (Beth), Doris Roy (John) and Helen Teetzel (Ken).

He is survived by: his children, Larry Barth, Cathy Long (Terry) and Tammy Allen (Brett); and his grandchildren, Tim Barth (Sarah), Matthew Barth (Jean), Kyle Long, Megan Prainito (Mike), Morgan Beninati (Nick) and Rob Allen. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
