Caroline B. Bertich Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 21, 2025, at the age of 89, Caroline B. Bertich of Lexington, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Caroline shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Caroline farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Orville Hawes and A. Lucille Hawes (Mockles); and her husband Joseph Bertich. She is survived by: her children, Vickie Smith (Dutch), Jay VanConant (Debbie), Kurt VanConant (Sue Ann Hughes) and Thomas Bertich (Lynda). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Pomeroy Funeral Home - Lexington (5635 Main St, Lexington, MI 48450). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be made the Sanilac County Humane Society.
