She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Newton and Carrie Newton (Scott); her husband William T. Walding; her brothers, Melvin (Sarah Newton), Leland (Maxine Newton) and Warren Newton; and her stepson Thomas Walding.
She is survived by: her daughters, Dawn Phillips (Bert) of Croswell, Marlene Szweda (Mike) of Harwood Hgts, Ellen Harneck of Port Huron, Eileen Haight (Fred) of Burtchville and Laurene Harneck of Elkhart, IN.; her grandchildren, Jeremy Szweda (May), Jessica Fearington (Chris Arrowood), Sarah Haight and Joshua Haight; her stepchildren, Frank Walding (Carla), Julie Walding and Rose Scott (Bill); and her sister-in-law Shirley Newton of Traverse City. She is also survived by several step grandchildren and great grandchildren.
