She was predeceased by: her parents, Clayton and Shirley; and her brother Scott Hamel. She is survived by: her husband Tim Flaim; her children, Matthew Flaim (Erin) and Angela Henderson (Jim); her close friends, Barbara Lengel (Paul), Greg Hamel (Diane) and Bill Hamel (Krysten); her sister-in-law Lisa Hamel; Phyllis Wilson. She is also survived by many nephews, nieces and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, her family kindly requests donations to be made to UNICEF in honor of Sherry's enduring love for children and motherly spirit.
