She was predeceased by: her brother-in-law Tim Collins; and her parents, Richard Welch and Dolores Welch. She is survived by: her children, Robert and Julie Ciochon (Tim); her grandchildren, Madalyn and Katelyn; her siblings, Jim Welch (Lula), Sidney Welch (Karen), Mary Beth Collins, Janice Bearden (Jim) and Tom Welch (Loretta); her godchildren, Tim and J. B.; and her spouse Charlie Justice.
