Esther Helen Halfacer Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Esther Helen Halfacer (Lincoln Park, Michigan), who passed away on October 19, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Nickert and Theresa Nickert (Preuss); her daughter Paula; and her siblings, Ernest, Roland, Charles, Dorothy and Gordon.
She is survived by: her husband Paul Halfacer; her children, Corky (late Lois) and Ernie (Dawn); her grandchildren, James (late Ashleigh), Gary (Courtney) and Sara (Kevin); and her sister Audrey.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Solosy Funeral Home (3206 Fort St, Lincoln Park, MI 48146). The lying in state will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the St. Stephen Evangelical Lutheran Church (1235 Lawndale St, Detroit, MI 48209). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at the Glen Eden Lutheran Memorial Park Cemetery (35667 Eight Mile Rd, Livonia, MI 48152).
