It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Michael Marietta of Lincoln Park, Michigan, who passed away on August 21, 2025, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though John Michael may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Marietta and Marguerite Lorraine Marietta (Coburn); and his nephew Jameson MacBeth. He is survived by: his siblings, James Marietta (Cynthia) and Lorraine MacBeth Underwood (Floyd); his nieces and nephews, Sean Day, Matthew Marietta (Samantha), Eric Marietta (Jennifer), Lauren and Rachel Marietta; his pet Sam; and his close friend Sam. He is also survived by his 17 great-nieces and nephews.
