She was predeceased by : her parents, Florence Messer and Oscar C. Messer; her stepfather Charles Allen; her siblings, Gerald Messer and Judith Messer; and her siblings-in-law, Margaret Messer and David Harris.

She is survived by : her husband Jack Phillips. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Molnar Funeral Homes - Nixon Chapel (2544 Biddle Ave, Wyandotte, MI 48192).
