He was predeceased by: his siblings, Elizabeth Thornton (late Floyd) and Eric Nattrass (Christine). He is survived by: his wife Twila Nattrass; his children, Melisa Darnieder (William), Michael Nattrass (Amber) and Stephanie Arthur (Cory); his grandchildren, Emily Darnieder, Julia Darnieder, Marcus Darnieder, Kaitlyn Nattrass, Ryan Arthur, Connor Nattrass, Joshua Arthur and Anne Darnieder; his sister Judith Lutze (Darwin); and his brother-in-law Lee Leff (Dawn Wernette-Leff). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and the many, many friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Solosy Funeral Home (3206 Fort St, Lincoln Park, MI 48146). A celebration of life was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 12:30 PM at the Michigan Memorial Park Cemetery (30895 W Huron River Dr, Flat Rock, MI 48134).
In lieu of flowers, Mike's family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made in his honor to Bethel Assembly of God, 2984 Fort St., Lincoln Park, MI 48146, a church that was an important part of Michael's life and faith.
