It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard M. Daniels Sr. of Lincoln Park, Michigan, who passed away on April 8, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Rudy Daniels and Hazel Daniels; his siblings, Donald Daniels, Leo Daniels, Ruth Renfro, Martha Vann and Viola Daniels; and his son Joseph Daniels.

He is survived by : his brother John Daniels (Sue); his wife Etta Mae Daniels; and his children, Richard Daniels Jr. (Linda), Carol Kettler (John), Diane Reyes (Ramon), John Daniels (Cindy M.), David Daniels (Cindy A.) and Christine Daniels (Mike). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren, his family and friends, who were touched by his kindness.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Solosy Funeral Home (3206 Fort St, Lincoln Park, MI 48146). A prayer was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 at 7:00 PM. The lying in state was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Christ the Good Shepherd Catholic Church (1540 Riverbank St, Lincoln Park, MI 48146). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 at the Our Lady of Hope Cemetery (18303 Allen Rd, Brownstown Charter Twp, MI 48193).
