He is survived by: his spouse Louanne Kivlin; his children, Walter (Kimberly) and Stacey Shurtz (Ralph); his grandchildren, Hunter Shurtz (Renee), Katarzyna Shurtz (Casey), Halena and Alexandra; his close friend Denny; and his great grandchild Victoria Marie Shurtz (June). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
