He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicholas Ranger and Helen Ranger (Lessard); his siblings, Lloyd, Robert, Dale, Beatrice Wojnar, Norma Williams, Christine Cole, Margaret Zingaro and Helen Skiver; and his brothers-in-law, Stanley Wojnar, Bill Williams, Bob Cole, Harold Skiver, Joe Smith, Rocky Derry and Craig Derry.
He is survived by: his wife Erlene; his children, Donald Ranger (Kim), Cynthia Ranger, Lisa Chippewa (Ray) and Wesley Ranger (Patti); his grandchildren, Natalie Fedrigon (Donald), Nicholas Ranger (Angela), Ryan Witten, Karl Witten, Nathan Wensel, Mikayla Ranger and Wyatt Ranger; his great grandchildren, Amelia Ranger, Henry and Audrey Fedrigon; his in-laws, Nancy Hier (Ed), Jennifer Sample (John), Deb Rhodes (Ken), Lori Boucher (Bill), Rick Derry, Jeff Derry and Mary Derry; and his sister Virgeline Smith. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations are suggested to the Alcona Humane Society.
