He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincent William and Honora Mahalak (Joseph); his son-in-law Tom Robbins; and his siblings, Margaret Trembath, Raymond Mahalak, David Mahalak, Eugene Mahalak and Vincent Mahalak.
He is survived by: his wife Rose Bugg; his daughters, Shelia Robbins, Carrie Hale (Howard) and Louann Krone (Stace); his grandchildren, Hope Ann Ludwig (Ed), Casie Gilbertson (Pete), Tara Beth Wilson (Donny), Luke Robbins (Chesney), Nathan Walker (Jacqueleene), Daniel Hale, Kelsey Abraham (Devon), Greyson Krone (Sarah), Savannah Hooper (A. J.), Foster Krone (Meaghan), Mariah Krone and Addison Krone; his sisters, Connie Shaffer and Suzanne O'Connor; and his sisters-in-law, Geraldine Mahalak, Sharon Mahalak and Francis Mahalak. He is also survived by 20 great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren.
