Nancy leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Nancy’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Nancy will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Herbert Roemer and Marie Roemer; her sisters, Karen Roemer and Martha Ann Kurtz (late Jeffrey); and her nephews, Matthew Kurtz and Adam Kurtz.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Mount Calvary Lutheran Church (17100 Chalmers St, Detroit, MI 48205).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Mount Calvary Lutheran Church.
