He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Carter and Doris Carter; his wife Patricia Carter; and his sister Emma Jean Berquist. He is survived by: his brother Robert Carter; his children, Mike Carter (Maya) and Pam Howd (late Rick); his grandchildren, Thomas Carter (Rachel) and Jon-Claude Howd; his great grandchildren, Kamryn, Dakota and Jordan Carter; and his niece Jeanne Lumm (Jerry). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church (7296 Gale Rd, Grand Blanc, MI 48439). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
