He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Francis and Ida May Jeffers (Streeter); his wife Mary J. Courter; his grandson Justin Jeffers; his brother Donald; and his sister-in-law Darlene Jeffers.
He is survived by: his children, Jim Jeffers of Linden, Vicki Jeffers of Linden, Joe, Jess Jeffers (Starr) of Cochoctah and Shannon Baxter (Scott) of Holly. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
