It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Johanna Patricia Claxton of Linden, Michigan, who passed away on September 8, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Adam Edward and Lottie Mary Janicki (Fortuna); her siblings, Edward Janicki and Mary Jane Grivas; and her siblings-in-law, Barb Janicki, Paul Grivas, Paula and Dan Mansur.
She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Claxton; her children, Marie Schaefers, John Karaszewski, Thomas Karaszewski (Lisa), Robert Karaszewski (Vicky) and Diane Peila; her brothers, John Janicki and Leonard Janicki (Liliana); her brother-in-law Ron Schoof; her grandchildren, Derek Schaefers, Bobby Karaszewski, Anthony Karaszewski, David, Samantha Schaefers and Skylar Karaszewski; Steven Karaszewski. She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
