It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen Marie Townsend of Linden, Michigan, who passed away on February 25, 2026, at the age of 46, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Patricia Suzanne Townsend (Dusenbery); her brother Steve Dusenbery; and her parents-in-law, Carol Lucas and Richard Lucas. She is survived by: her husband Benjamin Joseph Lucas; her father Thomas Townsend; her daughter Barbara Anne Cooke; her brother Thomas Townsend Jr.; her nephew Brett Taylor (Destinee); her siblings-in-law, Tammy Lucas and John Lucas; and her pet Chip.
