It is with sadness that the passing of Richard J. Wolverton of Linden, Michigan is shared. Richard, born on April 23, 1939, passed away on August 6, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Wolverton and Lucy Wolverton (Brower); his wife Nancy C. Hyde; and his siblings, Helen Morey, Margaret Smith, Kenneth, Harold, Donald and Robert Wolverton.
He is survived by: his children, Jeffrey Wolverton (Christine) and Lynette Sheyachich (Robert); his grandchildren, Matthew Wolverton (Kayla), Steven Wolverton, Taylor Cornell (Devin) and Sydney Sheyachich; and his great grandchildren, Brantley, Brody and Natalie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
