It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wayne Jay Breece of Linden, Michigan, who passed away on August 5, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Burton Proffer and Donna Proffer (Strong); and his brother Greg Proffer. He is survived by: his wife Maryellen Megge; his children, Jillian Mackey (Robert) of Fenton and Christopher Breece (Sarah) of St. Augustine, FL; his grandchildren, Madison, Charlotte, Noah, Vienna, Brielle and Rhen; and his siblings, David Breece of Grand Blanc, Bethany Hall of Davison, Chris Breece of Davison, Jeff Breece (Michelle) of Davison and Mike Breece of Millington. He is also survived by Several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Wounded Warriors Project, St. Luke N.E.W. Life Center or Powers Catholic High School.
