He was predeceased by: his parents, James Walter and Virginia Faye Brohn (Hays); his nephew Fred Borath; and his brother-in-law Gerry Claxton. He is survived by: his wife Kelly Jean Claxton; his stepsons, Zachary Rowe and Niklas Marciszewski; his sister Stacy Flowers (Jim); his mother-in-law Barbara Ahearne; his siblings-in-law, Lisette Foster (Bruce), Anthony Claxton, Joel Ahearne and Jaris Ahearrne; his cousin Steve Hays (Crista); and his goddaughter Kassidy Hays.
