Jeffrey Allen Munson Obituary
Jeffrey Allen Munson, known to many as Jeff, passed away on July 10, 2026, at his home in Linwood, Michigan, with his loving family by his side. He was born on October 15, 1960, in Saginaw, Michigan, to Benjamin and Nancy (Turner) Munson. Jeff lived a life marked by humor, adventure, and love, and he will be remembered always for the warmth he brought to those who knew him.
Jeff grew up in the Saginaw area and graduated from Bridgeport High School in 1978. From an early age, he was known for his easygoing nature and his ability to make people laugh. He carried those qualities throughout his life, and they became a defining part of who he was. Jeff was the kind of man who could strike up a conversation with anyone, and he had a gift for turning ordinary moments into memorable ones. His family and friends will always remember his quick wit, his honest manner, and the way he made those around him feel welcome.
Jeff spent many years working as a heavy machine operator for several companies, a career that suited his hardworking spirit and strong hands. He took pride in his work and understood the value of earning a living through dedication and perseverance.
Outside of work, Jeff embraced life with a sense of freedom and enjoyment. He loved to go fishing and hunting, and he especially loved riding his Harley. Those who knew him understood that his motorcycle was more than just a ride. It was part of the way he enjoyed the world, taking in the open road and the feeling of adventure that came with it. He also enjoyed spending time with friends and family, and some of his happiest moments were found in simple conversation, good company, and a few cold ones. He could often be found at the Silver Derby or My Bar, enjoying time with others and sharing stories, laughter, and the kind of companionship he treasured most.
Above all, Jeff loved being with his family. He was a devoted father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend. He is survived by his daughter, Amanda (Marshall) Labombard, and his grandchildren, Noah Snyder, Joseph (Faith) Snyder, and Ayden and Landyn Moughler. He is also survived by his loving mother, Nancy, and his siblings, Brian (Shannon) Munson, Timothy Munson, Amy (Mark) Cimmerer, and Edward and (Rayleen) Munson. His family was an important part of his life, and he found joy in the bonds they shared and the memories they created together.
Jeff was preceded in death by his father, his nephew Curtis Cimmerer, and his soulmate, "My Girl" Roxanne Gawne, whom he is now reunited with. Their passing left a deep void, but their memory remained close to his heart. Jeff carried the love of those he lost with him throughout his life, and now he rests in peace among those who went before him.
