Stacey L. Ayers Obituary

Stacey Lynn Ayers, 62, formerly of Linwood, passed away peacefully on February 15, 2026, after her courageous battle with cancer.

Born on December 3, 1963, Stacey lived a life defined by compassion, strength, and a deep love for the natural world. She found joy and renewal in the outdoors—whether hiking scenic trails, kayaking across peaceful waters, or feeling the warmth of the sun at the beach. Nature was her sanctuary, and she cherished every opportunity to explore its beauty.

Stacey dedicated her professional life to helping others as a massage therapist, a career in which she truly excelled. Her healing hands, attentive spirit, and genuine care brought comfort and relief to countless clients. She approached her work not simply as a profession, but as a calling to nurture and restore.

Above all, Stacey will be remembered for her beautiful smile and her encouraging words. She had a gift for uplifting those around her, offering kindness, reassurance, and strength even during her own difficult journey. Her warmth and positivity touched the lives of many and will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and all who knew her.

Stacey is survived by her beloved son, Ashton Ayers; her father, Marcos Duran; her sister, Jodie (Dan) Burch; and her cherished nieces and nephews, Jaclyn DeFrain, Robby (Ashley) DeFrain, Tracey Burch, Valerie Burch, Matthew Burch, Talen DeFrain, Ryker DeFrain, and Reighna DeFrain.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Elizabeth Duran.

A memorial service will be held at Radiance Church in Bay City. Service details will be shared with family and friends.

Stacey's legacy of love, resilience, and compassion will forever remain a guiding light to those she leaves behind. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her family, friends, and all whose lives she touched.

In lieu of flowers those wishing an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the families wishes so they can make a donation in Stacey's honor.
