In loving memory of Clara Mae Staten-Iles (Litchfield, Michigan), who departed this world on July 22, 2025 at the age of 86. Clara Mae leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Pennington-Stevens and Katherine Pennington-Stevens; her children, Donna Kay Staten, Steven and Aaron Staten; and her brother James Stevens.

She is survived by: her grandchildren, Kyle Campbell (Jamie), Katie Thomas (Matt), Brad Chapman (Nicole), Nathaniel Staten (Sarah), Christopher Staten (Michelle) and Nicholas Staten (Miranda); her brother Roger Smith (Dorene); her sister-in-law Carolyn Stevens; and her close friends, Susie and Missy.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Litchfield Chapel (220 N Chicago St, Litchfield, MI 49252). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

Memorial Contributions are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
