He is survived by: his wife Marina; his children, Natalya Ashkar (Bashar), John Madany (Stacy) and Abraham Madany (Amy); his grandchildren, Julian, Jonathan Ashkar, Alex, Aidan, Austin Madany, Christian and Marina Madany; and his sister Mari Obeidi (late Jozef).
