With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Alice Jean Steffe of Livonia, Michigan, born in Miami, Florida, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Alice left this world on November 13, 2025 at the age of 89, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. In the sacred silence of farewell, Alice is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Olsen and Bernice Olsen (Dull); and her sister Joan Herrington. She is survived by: her children, Laura Saab, Jean Bliss (Joseph), Mark Bertrand and Heather Morgan (Michael); and her family Alice.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 20th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the L. J. Griffin Funeral Home (7707 Middlebelt Rd, Westland, MI 48185). The lying in state was held on Friday, November 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Rosedale Gardens Presbyterian Church (9601 Hubbard St, Livonia, MI 48150). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
