He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Erna; his children, Diane Snyder, Tom (Connie) and Nancy Shinaberry (Kevin); his grandchildren, Katie, Becky, Jacob, Rachel, Everett, Nick, Kyle and Lauren; and his great grandchildren, Grayson, Owen, Liam, Cooper, Finnan and Lennon.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fred Wood Funeral Home (36100 Five Mile Rd, Livonia, MI 48154). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Colette Catholic Church (17600 Newburgh Rd, Livonia, MI 48152).
