He was predeceased by: his wife Jerry; his brother William R. Hoff Sr.; and his parents, Charles W. Hoff and Eleanor Kuehler Hoff. He is survived by: his sisters, Mary Ann Waack and Janet Herman (Lloyd); his children, Charles P. Hoff (Kris) and Luwetta Hoff; his stepsons, David Hoff and Danny Hoff; and his nephew Ralph Waack Jr..

Once COVID hit in 2020, his health declined, yet he spent much time in letter writing activities still sharing that good news.
