He is survived by: his children, Michael DeFrain, Kevin DeFrain and Kelly DeFrain (Norma); his stepchildren, Julie Cleveland (Norvin), Suzan Hunt, Laurie Soto (Kevin Borso) and Linda Soto-Stonier; his grandchildren, Christina Lambert (Scott), Nathan DeFrain (Zoe), Joshua DeFrain, Nicholas Cleveland, Benjamin Hunt (Daina), Lucas Hunt (Madi), Tommy Gatses, Carolin Stonier, Corey DeFrain, Jaret DeFrain and Jack Stonier; his great grandchildren, Carson Brown, Theo Lambert, Paisley DeFrain and Savannah DeFrain; his sibling's children, Marian Dmochowski and Kim Dmochowski-Kenyon; his close friend Frank Levens; and also Rose Ruby.
