He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow Estep and Elsie Estep (Daugherty); his wife Virginia Monroe "Dyess" Estep; and his siblings, Willard, Ted, Paul Estep and Thelma Blair.
He is survived by: his son Jason Estep of Ypsilanti, Michigan.; his sisters, Theresa Moseley of Jamboree and Mag Blankenship of Phelps; and his sister-in-law Barbara Sue "Stiltner" Estepp of Columbus. He is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Jones & West Funeral Home (37035 KY-194, Phelps, KY 41553). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at the TBD Buddy Hatfield Cemetery.
