He is survived by: his spouse Jean; his children, Sandra Gronau (Randy) and Michele Shantz (Mark); his grandchildren, Megan and Allison; and his sons-in-law, Randy and Mark.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Turowski Life Story Funeral Homes (30200 Five Mile Rd, Livonia, MI 48154). The lying in state was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Genevieve - St. Maurice Catholic Church (29015 Jamison St, Livonia, MI 48154). A Mass was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Our Lady of Hope Cemetery (18303 Allen Rd, Brownstown Township, MI 48193).
