With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Eleanor Elizabeth Smith of Livonia, Michigan, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Shaffer and Elizabeth Shaffer; her husband Alan Smith; her siblings, Elmer Shaffer and Ruth Krajewski (Bob); her son Timothy Smith; and her son-in-law Angel Gonzalez.

She is survived by: her children, Diane Gonzalez and Matthew Smith (Denise); her grandchildren, Rebecca Bogin (Daniel), Justin Boomgaard, Tracie Gonzalez and Justin Gonzalez; and her sister-in-law Rita Shaffer. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, other family and friends.
